What can I do to help this plant! I have removed many brown spot leaves in the past few weeks

Marianne's Response
The anthurium or Flamingo Flower loves a tropical forest and is a bit tricky to make happy indoors. It needs a lot of humidity so mist several times a day. It also likes the temperature to be over 60 degrees at all times with bright light from a window but no direct sun on the leaves. Those leaf spots could be due to sunburn if the plant gets direct sun or a lack of humidity. Removing the infected leaf is a good idea. It is possible the brown spots are from a leaf spot disease and the best way to keep a fungal infection from spreading is removing the infected leaves and providing good air circulation. The green of the foliage looks very healthy and the bloom is beautiful so I think your plant will survive. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
