First do not panic as insects feeding on leaves rarely kill a tree. Second you must try to capture one of the insects to identify it because once you know what the pest is I can better help you with treatment. Sending a photo of the pest is the best way for me to help if you do not know the name of the pest. If the trees are young and small you can hose off the "bugs" with a strong jet of water or pinch them with your fingers. Even if you do nothing and wait a few weeks nature may help you out as predators including birds may discover the pests and clean them up for you. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
