Marianne's Response
busynana50’s Question
My strawberries are in a raised bed, there is no room for the runners, can I cut them and plant them in the garden?

Marianne's Response
Yes, you can move strawberry runners to a garden bed but be warned they will continue to spread and in my own garden they took over the other vegetables. I ended up digging them all out. I still find it hard to toss out healthy plants like strawberry runners but at least if you add them to a compost pile they are returning organic matter to your garden once they rot.
