Now is the perfect time to plant leaf crop like lettuce, kale, Swiss chard and spinach. The partialy shaded area works great because leaf crops need less sun than other veggies. If you care to cover the second crop of fall veggies with a agricultural fleece or Remay than you can extend your fall harvest into the winter months.
