CA poppy seeds
This is Feb 10 in W. WA. Is it too early to plant CA poppy seeds? I live in Steilacoom, its pretty mild and old ones are coming up, but I’m asking about fresh seeds. thanks

Just grow for it and sprinkle those poppy seeds on the bare ground now. A hard frost or snowfall will cause them to sink into the ground at the perfect height for germinating in the spring. They need sunlight to sprout so do not cover with soil. Enjoy your blooms this summer. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
