Marianne's Response

Can you identify my plant?

plant

I have stopped at several garden shops to identify this plant with no luck. I had this in our yard about 35 years ago and would love To replace it. I would bloom at night right before your eyes but in the morning the flowers would be dead.

Marianne's Response

My best guesstimate is that you have a type of dwarf daylily. The daylily got it's name because the blooms last only for one day. There are thousands of daylily varieties and many new dwarf forms. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
