Ways to harvest an onion
Hi there, I am growing onions and wondering if I should snip off the pointy seed pods that are at the top of the leaves. Thank you in advance.

Yes, and they are edible as well as ornamental. You can harvest onions at all different stages of development so it is a personal decision if you want to enjoy the tender green shoots or let the onion root mature and cure and harvest in the fall.
