Marianne's Response

Not sure what area you are in but for most plants you should water in the morning before the sun is hot. Many gardeners water in the evening and this is fine but in damp climates it can encourage fungal infections on the leaves if the foliage gets wet just before the sun sets. Watering just the roots and not the foliage will help to prevent fungal infections. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
