I have had some arborvitae cut down and root killer was put on the what left of the root base. I had it done by the company that does the community’s lawns. How soon before I can plant new plants?

What type of root killer? If it was RoundUp, then I would wait one week but you may need to check with the company. Some herbicides such as Casaron will last for months in the soil but only affect seedling and young plants and will not destroy new shrubs. Keep Growing, Marianne Binetti
