chickens & systemic insecticide
My elm trees are being eaten alive by tiny caterpillar like insects. I found a systemic insecticide to pour around the base of the trees, but am worried that it might kill or harm our free-range chickens?

So sorry but I am not a chicken expert so I shall refer you a vet about animal safety. Perhaps you can put the chickens to work cleaning up those caterpillars by building ramps to help them climb the tree! Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
