Slow growing Wave petunias

I have 2 large planters on my deck that I planted Wave double petunias. I used fresh miracle grow potting soil and Osmocote at time of planting. There were a few blossoms on the plants when I purchased them however since those blossoms were spent no others have come. The plants look green and healthy and are growing, just no BLOSSOMS. I went back to the nursery where I bought them and the person I talked to thought I had done everything right and didn’t know why they weren’t blooming. They are in a sunny location. Is there anything you could suggest to encourage blooming? They are kept watered and fertilized.

If I had my receipt the nursery would replace them. Unfortunately I did not keep the receipt. By the way I plant these 2 pots every year with petunias for the past 18 years and this is the first time I have had this problem,
