Clematis 1
My second question went before the first. Just watched your utube on pruning clematis. My questions can you prune all varieties of clematis. I have two which I can’t remember their names, would you know? Do clematis bloom their first year?

I am not sure if this clematis is more white or lavender as sometimes color does not transfer true in a photo. If it is lavender then my guess is Tranquilite Clematis a compact plant from horticulturist Raymond Everson. I love how some of the flowers look more double. I see lots of buds so no matter what type it is, she is a beauty. Most clematis do not flower until at least 3 years old. You can prune all clematis but when to prune for most blooms depends on what type of clematis you have. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
