Hi! My dahlias are already amazing. However, I’ll be gone for the next month…so no deadheading. Could I cut them back by about a 1/3rd, and let them grow for a month…and see new flowers?

yes! Giving your dahlias and even your petunias a good clipping before you leave means you will return to well-branched plants with new buds and ready to bloom for the rest of the summer and into the fall.
