Why is my viburnum not flowering?
I have a viburnum “Spirit” that put out tremendous growth this year with no blossoms whatsoever. It was attacked by deer last year but they didn’t do too much damage. Mainly ate off the ends of branches, but not all. How do I get blooms back for next winter and spring?

Your viburnum probably just took a year off due to the deer pruning the future buds. Make sure it does not dry out in September when the buds will be forming and it should flower for you next spring. Do not prune the tip growth until just after the shrub has finished flowering. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
