Don't think dates - it changes all the time depending on the weather. Instead grab a handful of soil and squeeze. If the soil stays in a ball it is too wet to till. When the clump falls apart in your hand after you squeeze that means it is friable and dry enough to work. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
