Crape Myrtle in a container
I’m looking to plant a red crape myrtle in a container. I keep getting told no dwarfs available.
Can I keep a regular one and keep trimmed to grow in a container?

Yes, you can keep a standard Crepe Myrtle in a large pot but the key is using a container at least 36 inches deep with good drainage and a location in the sun. Pruning the plant will even encourage more blooms so don't be afraid to cut back a crepe myrtle even if it is not in a container. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
