Big Boy tomatoes won’t grow
For the last two or three years I have planted at least two tomato vines. They grow to be beautiful. Then they start flowering, but most of the time I have no tomatoes. I water them every day and feed them MG, but nothing. When I do get a tomato growing it only gets the size of a small plum. The plants are Big Boys. Please can you help me understand what I am doing wrong?

Do you live in a cool summer area? Are the plants in full sun with lots of heat? You could also be watering too often. Tomatoes need heat, sun, and soil that drains quickly but is not allowed to dry out totally. Big Boys are a variety that really need warm nights and hot days to ripen well. If you live in a cool summer area, try tomatoes bred for less heat, such as Stupice, Early Girl, or Oregon Spring. You can also wrap bubble wrap around your plants making a mini greenhouse to capture more early summer heat. Growing the plants up against the hot south or west side of the house is best.
