My oranges and meyer lemons have lots of tiny black spots on them. I first thought it was from birds pecking them but some of the fruit is almost completely covered. What could be causing it and how can i stop it?

Would you be able to send a photo of the damage on the skin? I am not sure from your description if the spots are from an insect or a disease. It could even be weather related due to cold rain. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
