Marianne's Response
CSump’s Question
This year for the first time I grew Heavenly Blue morning glories all along the fence in my side yard, and they’re beautiful. The seed packet says that they’re annuals. Any chance that they’ll overwinter? Do I cut down the vines when/if they fade? Any chance they’ll reseed? Any advice you may have is welcome.
Thanks,
Chris

How glorious that must have been - blue heaven. Sadly, morning glories that bloom blue are tender annuals and they will not reseed. Cut them down as soon as they look ugly - usually after the first hard frost. This vine needs heat to sprout and heat to bloom - so they do best when summer's are warm. You can always replant them next year. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
