Marianne's Response

Debbien’s Question

Here is another attempt at getting a photo submitted of the shrub I’m trying to have you help identify. This is another picture of the shrub in response to your questions from about ten days ago. I have just tried to post another picture but having trouble with the file size. Port Townsend, shrub not a perennial, medium pink cluster of unopened flowers in long pale slightly fuzzy stems with slightly fuzzy leaves. You thought it may be a viburnum.

Marianne's Response

Thank you for successfully resending the photo and I wish I could say I am sure of my ID of this plant but my best guess is that the mystery plant is a type of Phlomis, usually considered a perennial or sub shrub. If anyone else seeing this photo has a better guess please join in with what you think the mystery plant is called. Gardening is an adventure that much we must agree on. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
