Debbien’s Question
My mother-in-law’s neighbor has the shrub pictured below. It is about 3 1/2 feet tall and round, has large fuzzy leaves and this pink cluster at the end of each long stem that are about to bloom. I would wait til they open but I’m afraid I won’t be there at that time. Hoping you can tell what it is without the bloom opened. If you need a picture of the fully-opened flower, I can post again. Thanks.

The flower cluster looks like a type of viburnum. Is this a woody shrub or a perennial with fleshy stems that die back in the winter? A photo of the entire plant might help me to make a better guess as to the name of this mystery plant. Also, what part of the country are you in? Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
