Marianne's Response
Deer Proof Plants
Will society garlic and/or rosemary planted close to hibiscus and hydrangeas help to keep deer from eating those plants?

Marianne's Response
Yes - any of the strong scents from herbs will detour deer - for awhile. Hungry deer will ignore all smells in an effort to stay alive and will even eat the bark from trees. Lavender is another scented herb that some gardeners claim can combat browsing deer. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
