Your woodland plants would do best with a light (use half the recommended amount)  feeding of Osmocote in spring - but I am not sure what you mean by different month options.  Did you mean different types for acid loving plants and vegetables and flowers? Most woodland plants like a soil that is on the acid side so the Osmocote made for rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias would be best if your woodland garden includes these shrubs. A mulch of wood chips, compost or leaf mold will also add organic matter to the soil and woodland plants thrive best with plenty of organic matter in the soil. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
