Diabolo ninebark
How closely should I plant a diabolo ninebark hedge. It can get up to ten feet high and wide. Would a staggered double row be more effective for a quicker screen?

I love the Diablo ninebark and I do think a staggered hedge with the plants 4 to 6 feet apart would create a great screening hedge in just a few years. If you would like to be more patient you can also space the shrubs 6 to 8 feet apart and depending on the soil, water and weather a hedge should form in 5 to 7 years. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
