Wow - if you have only two weeds, just pull them up by their roots. If you mean two types of weeds, you can pull, smother or spray depending on how big the area. Putting newspaper or cardboard over a large weedy area and then covering this with compost, bark, grass clippings or other organic matter will smother the weeds and you'll be able to plant next spring.
