Removing poison ivy in a raised garden bed
Hi! I planted way too much in the raised garden my husband built me. I’ve never done this before and expected everything to die. Lol anyway, I need to move the cantaloupe and watermelon on the ground now that they’re established. I just pulled some poison oak and ivy from where this new garden bed needs to go. My question, can I dig this bed maybe a foot or 2 deep and lay plastic so I don’t have to worry about this damn poison oak and ivy again? Please help! Thank you!!!

Please don't use plastic. Dig out the bed and lay down cardboard or thick sheets of newspaper and than your new soil. The roots will still die under the paper but unlike plastic it will turn into organic matter.
