Your roses could be suffering from a blight called shot hole disease, or being eaten by a small green worm that hides on the underside of the leaves. Inspect the foliage closely by turning it over. A shot hole disease may also cause the leaves to turn yellow, especially lower leaves. Keep rose foliage as dry as possible and give the plants good air circulation to prevent these leaf fungal infections. The insects and the disease can be controlled with a rose and flower spray sold at your garden center. Some of these come ready to use in a trigger spray bottle.
