How to control invasive raspberry plants

I planted 2 raspberry plants last year for my daughter. Now I have offshoots popping up everywhere, including in my lawn. What can I do to control this?

Thank you.

Mow them down, chop them out, and cut them off. The underground runners can be controlled if you cut them from the mother plant each spring before they get out of control. There is also a new compact raspberry plant that is thornless called \"Raspberry Shortcake\" sounds perfect for a small garden. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
