Drying peas

I’m drying purple hull peas for next year’s garden. I have noticed some have started to sprout. Is this okay or do i need to toss them?

Toss them. To save peas to use as seed for next year they need to be dry and unsprouted. Good for you trying to save seed. Sometimes the seed will not produce plants like the parents as they are hybrid but learning to save seed is a fun skill to learn. Store in paper envelopes in a cool dry spot over the winter.  Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
