Dwarf gingko varieties

I’m intrigued by your recent mention of dwarf ginkgo trees that can grow in pots. Are there specific varieties that you recommend?
Thanks,

Dwarf Ginkos are long lived trees even in a container and the variety I grow and that is most available is the variety 'Mariken' but another dwarf Ginko found as a sport from the Netherlands is called 'Buddy' due to its large winter buds. Both have excellent gold leaf color and nurseries will sell only the male varieties, so you won't need to worry that they make the stinky ginko fruit. Another common name for the Ginko biloba is Maidenhair tree due to the fan shaped leaves. I recommend either variety and you will be delighted by the easy care and great beauty of these compact trees.  Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
