Can Osmocote Be Sprinkled On the Ground?

Can I sprinkle Osmocote on the ground around my flowers and not work it in to the soil? I have a bad knee.

Yes, I have worked at nurseries that do not have the time to work the Osmocote into the soil and the plants still benefit. If you live in a very warm climate where the temperature is over 90 degrees I would suggest you put some soil or mulch on top of the Osmocote once you sprinkle it on top of the soil. This will keep the fertilizer granules shaded and cool. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
