Marianne's Response
Best growing conditions for irises
I divided and moved some irises about 3 years ago and I can’t get them to bloom. They grow just fine, but no blossoms. On my undivided irises, I get a couple of blossoms. Do they need something? They are all in direct sun.

Marianne's Response
The most common reason why irises don't bloom is too much shade or they are planted too deep. Irises love full sun and should be just barely beneath the surface of the soil. Give them one more year after removing soil from on top of the tubers and see what happens. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
