Enum stag sumac both male & female flowers

I planted a staghorn sumac 3 years ago and it always had the red flower plumes on it. This year they all started out red but many have changed to the yellowy male 5 petal plumes. There are both types on my 1 plant now. I know that it is rare to have both male and female flowers on the same staghorn sumac, but possible. I would like verification.
