Marianne's Response
Fall fertilizer?
I’m wondering if I should sprinkle Osmocote this time of year.

Marianne's Response
No, not if you are talking about outdoor plants and live where there is a winter cold season. Osmocote is activated by heat and water so it would lie dormant and plants need to rest and go dormant in the winter. Osmocote feeds slowly for up to six months so applying it in the spring is best.
