Choose a container with a drainage hole that is a few inches larger than what the tree is growing in now or if tree is in ground a container that holds at least 5 gallons of soil. Use a professional potting soil that drains well such as Miracle Grow potting soil. Place soil in pot to fill bottom third, add plant and fill in around rootball so that plant is growing at same level as before. Firm soil gently with heel of hands. Water well.
