Fertilize new hydrangea
we are putting in a new Everlasting Revolution Hydrangea (Macrophylla Hokomareva). Paper work says fertilize with a phosphorous-higher NPK. We have Osmocote Smart Release for Azalea-Camellia-Rhododendron. Is this OK for the hydrangea? Thanks!

Yes, your new hydrangea will love the Osmocote ACR. Be sure to add some organic matter to the soil and a mulch to keep the roots cool. The first summer your newly planted hydrangea will need more water as it establishes a root system. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
