Marianne's Response
Fiberglass planter
I have planted these vegetables in an old trough. It’s aluminum on the outside and has a fiberglass liner. I planted these peppers about 6 weeks ago and they don’t seem to have grown. Is it the fiberglass liner trough that is affecting the growth or is it perhaps the Ph level of the soil, which I bought at a soil place.

The fiberglass is not to blame. I will assume the container as good drainage. Peppers do need warm nights above 50 degrees or they will turn yellow and pout. I suspect you had some cool nights. Make a mini greenhouse from a gallon milk jug with the bottom cut out and place on top of each pepper. Full sun, good drainage and warm nights make peppers happy. Add some Osmocote plant food around each plant now to feed for the next 3 months. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
