Figs falling off tree covered in white substance

My Brown Turkey fig tree is developing some type of mold:fungus on the unripened green figs. They are on the tree and also falling off onto ground. Any help would be appreciated. Posting picture. More available if desired. .

So sorry but it looks like powdery mildew has infected your figs. This fungus thrives when the foliage or fruit is allowed to get wet and there is poor air circulation. Keep the foliage dry, prune to remove some branches and increase the air circulation and collect and remove all infected fruit and leaves to stop the mildew spores from spreading. Add a fresh layer of wood chips mulch around the base of the fig tree so seal in any mildew spores that have fallen to the ground. If you do good cleanup now and sacrafice the infected figs you might still get some clean fruit before summer ends. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
