Safely kill dandelions
We just installed a new lawn in our back yard, but it has since been inundated with dandelions. Do you recommend a specific product that is harmless to the new sod but gets rid of the weeds?

Yes, the old-fashioned, stand-up dandelion puller is quick and effective, and it removes the entire tap root so you leave aeration holes in your lawn after pulling up the weeds. You can find these nifty weeders at big box stores. Kids love to use them and as it is not a power tool they are safe for older children to use. Happy weeding!
