Does used coffee grounds help in your flower beds?

Yes! Coffee grounds are great for making the soil more acid around rhododendrons, azaleas and evergreens. When used as a mulch on top of the soil mix them with some dry leaves or bark so they don't cake up and form a crusty barrier to water. They also repel slugs as slugs and snails hate caffeine - they like to remain sluggish. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
