Caring for daffodils in winter
If I want to plant daffodil bulbs in a planter that is under the eaves of my house, will I need to water the bulbs during the winter? If so, how much will I need to water them?

Daffodils prefer to be dry during the summer when they are dormant and need only average moisture in the winter, so growing them under the house eaves should be fine. Just water when the top few inches of soil is dry to the touch, October - until they bloom. In most areas this would be once a month or so. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
