So sorry, I have not heard of any plant with name and after searching for plants with any close to that spelling I came up empty. Using your description of a tropical plant with beautiful rose colored blooms, my best guess is you mean Jatropha mulitfida or coral plant. It is a decorative shrub with flowers that have red stems.
