Are there special directions for growing sweet potatoes?

Sweet potatoes are not related to regular potatoes but are more closely related to morning glory. They need four months of hot weather. The tops are vining and edible as well as the tuberous roots. This is a crop grown mainly in the South where summers are warm. Garden centers and nurseries sell seed stock in the spring and the tuberous roots should be planted in full sun with soil that drains well.
Keep growing,
