Damaged white pine
I have a Chinese white pine tree that I just love. Unfortunately, one of the horses knocked a fence and tore off some of the branches. I am in a panic. What should I do, if anything?

Your pine will be fine. Just cut the broken branches back to where they join a larger branch or trunk and the tree will grow new branches. Nothing to worry about but you'll have to accept that the tree will be a bit lopsided as it recovers. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
