Marianne's Response
Granny-question
I live in Southern Oregon near Grants Pass. When should I prune my roses back?

Marianne's Response
I would wait until later in the spring or when you see daffodils blooming before pruning your roses. Pruning always stimulates growth and if your roses wake up after you get snippy with them they could send out new growth too early - and be nipped by a late spring cold front moving in from the mountains.
Keep growing,
