Green potatoes
I’ve been hilling up my potato plants with compost but today I noticed a few potatoes poking through the compost, and because they were exposed they were green colored on their top sides. I know this isn’t good, so I covered them up with more compost. But I wonder whether the skin will turn brown now that they’re covered again.

Maybe, but the important thing to remember is that you must discard any green tubers or any potatoes with green under the skin. Be safe and not sorry. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
