No. Coffee grounds benefit acid loving plants such as lettuce but other plants such as ryegrass, wheat and tomatoes are negatively affected by the lowering of the pH that coffee grounds can do. Working aged but not freshly used coffee grounds into the soil will benefit most plants but it may be best to add coffee grounds to the compost pile and then use the aged compost around your tomatoes.
