Marianne's Response
Hardy cyclamen
My Hardy cyclamen have died back for the summer but the large corms keep popping up to the surface. Should I leave them alone or push them back under the surface? I’m worried that they will get too wet with summertime watering or that they might get raked up by mistake. Thank you!

Mine do the same thing. I leave them alone if they are in the shade but cover with just a thin layer of soil or wood chips if they get hit by the afternoon sun. The corms prefer to sit right on top of the soil but just barely covering them with a mulch that is less than one half inch deep will help to keep them hydrated in the hot summer sun.
