Diagnose a wilting berry shrub

We recently moved a large (6 feet wide, 4 feet high) 3-year-old beauty berry and it is wilting. We have been watering it but I am afraid we killed it! Should we prune it back or leave it as is?

I suggest you leave it as is until spring. This way you will not shock it further by pruning it, which could stimulate growth this fall. You want plants to go dormant in the winter, and pruning always stimulates growth. I suspect the shrub will be fine - just pouting a bit about the move. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
