How can I save my Alexandria saucer magnolia

We have an Alexandria saucer magnolia it seems that some of the buds as well as leaves are turning black and even some limbs what could this possibly be and how do we save our tree?

Do you live in an area with heat stress or a very cold spring was present? Weather related problems cause bud blast which is when the buds turn brown and dry and so I do not believe your magnolia is dying, just stressed from the weather. You may not get blooms in the spring but the good news is that trees can adapt to weather changes and it will most likely bloom in future years. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
